These Terms of Use apply to the Antenna Calculator desktop app, your Antenna Calculator account and the website mmwave.app. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. They are in English; if you read the website in another language, this English text is the one that applies.
1. Who we are
Antenna Calculator is offered by [your full name or business name], [postal address] ("we", "us"). Contact: [support@mmwave.app].
2. The app and the plans
Antenna Calculator is a Windows app with antenna, microwave and RF calculators. It comes in three plans:
- Student: 30 calculators, results without Smith charts, for students at listed universities and colleges.
- Standard: 41 calculators with Smith charts and stability circles.
- Professional: all 47 calculators and the link lab, and new modules first as they are released.
Each plan has its own Setup file. What a copy of the app can use depends on the plan of the account signed in to it and on the Setup that was installed. Features we describe as planned or in development are not promised by a date and may change before release.
3. Your account
- You need an account to use the app. Give your real full name, a working email address, your phone number and your country, and keep them up to date.
- Your account is personal. Don't share your password or let others use your subscription.
- Keep your password safe. It needs at least 9 characters with a capital and a small letter. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
- We may suspend an account that is used against these terms, for example shared, resold or used to abuse the student price.
4. Subscriptions, payment and cancelling
- Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which sells the subscription as the merchant of record. Its terms and privacy policy apply to the purchase, the payment and the invoice.
- Prices are shown in euros on mmwave.app. A subscription renews automatically every month or every year until you cancel it.
- You can cancel at any time from the link in your receipt email. The app stays available until the end of the period you have paid for; then the subscription ends.
- Refunds: [your refund rule, for example: "If you're not satisfied, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it."] Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
- We may change prices for future periods. We'll tell you by email at least 30 days before a change applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before then.
Free trial
A new account gets a free trial of the Student plan for 14 days, without a card. There is one free trial per person and per computer. When it ends, the calculators lock until you choose a plan; nothing is charged automatically. We may change or stop the free trial for new accounts.
5. Student plan
The student price is for students enrolled at an institution in our list who confirm their university email address with the code we send to it. We may ask you to confirm again. If you are no longer a student, or the student price was obtained without being eligible, we may end the student subscription; you can then subscribe to Standard or Professional at the regular price.
6. Licence
During the free trial and while your subscription is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the app for your own work, including commercial engineering work for Standard and Professional. You may not copy, sell, rent or redistribute the app, remove its notices, get around its sign-in or plan limits, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows this. The app and its content remain ours.
Names of others. Product, company and university names that appear in the app or on mmwave.app, such as Windows, Wi-Fi, RT/duroid or Lemon Squeezy, are trademarks or names of their owners. We use them only to describe compatibility, materials, standards or the services we use, and Antenna Calculator is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Textbooks are cited by author and title as the source of the formulas and worked examples; their authors and publishers have not reviewed or endorsed the app.
7. Engineering results
The app helps with calculations; it does not replace engineering judgement. Its formulas follow published references and are checked against worked examples, but results depend on the inputs and on the limits of the models. Check results that matter, especially before building, buying or certifying anything, and follow the regulations that apply to your equipment.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the app and the sign-in service available, but we can't promise they will always be free of errors or interruptions. The app keeps working offline for up to 14 days at a time. We may update the app and these terms. If a change to these terms matters to you, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it applies.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using the app and cancel your subscription at any time, and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may end an account that breaks these terms; if we end it without a good reason, we'll refund the unused part of a prepaid period.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of [Israel]. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live and can bring a claim there. The EU online dispute resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
